If you are more scared than excited about AI, you are sane.
Especially if you are leveraging it.
Just read this morning that Tyler Perry just pulled back on an 800M studio expansion saying “There’s got to be some sort of regulations in order to protect us. If not, I just don’t see how we survive.” https://a.bnjmn.org/sora
Disenchantment with tech, social media, and AI will hurt us more than help.
I’m worried we will raise a generation that looks at technology as only tobacco.
AI, software as engagement machines to sell, something for a tech bro to get rich off of- or something to demonize, regulate, and control.
It’s the things we make; it’s how we make them. It’s why we make them.
I made some videos because I started to get sad and frustrated by the disillusionment- and because it’s crazy exciting what I/we are doing with AI. More coming.
